I am so thrilled to finally be posting some work from a new series I have been working on. I am enjoying so much exploring pattern and textures as well as the bright colours warming up these Southern Hemisphere winter days. Hope they brighten your day too! Elephant Sculpture

When I was a sculpture student our lecturer took us to the Port Elizabeth Museum to meet their taxidermist. He gave me a rat skull which resembled an elephant head and trunk (perhaps more so if you are far sighted). Anyway, this is what became of it.

Under the Sea

Sand between my toes, crashing waves, rock climbing, sea snails and hermit crabs, coco butter sun block, searching through rock pools, the warmth of tidal pools....oh I do like to be beside the seaside!

Fair fowl

I repainted this chicken in blue to match my wedding deco and placed her on the dessert buffet table.
