Kruger National Park

It was really strange to drive the 33kms to work and back again and not see any elephant dung on the road. Yes, after 3 days I had tossed off the city life and thought I could live in the bush forever. These guys were making a good life for themselves, why can't I? Hmmmm....

Instead of working from the edge he has made a ball in the middle. There are two of them and somehow they going to get it out of there and down th eroad to their home.

Perhaps I should start at the beginning.... driving through Mpumalanga to get to the park is best done in the dark because the scenery is so beautiful you might forget your destination.

The highlight was having breakfast at one of the watering holes on our first morning in the KNP and seeing first one, then two bull Elephants come to the water, walk in deep and start playing and swimming. Imagine our surprise when from behind us the same thing

happened but now it was one after the other. You could see they were enjoying themselves and the respite from 40 degree Cel. heat. I longed to join them. On our last trip the elephants were a bit aggressive but this troupe were having a ball and it all looked so inviting.
